Walking tours Scotland - walking in Scotland

Why do Scottish heroes Rob & William hike with us?

Follow in the footsteps of the Scottish national heroes Rob Roy and William Wallace. Both are legends from two different epochs of Scotland.

You follow lonely paths in the "Trossachs" which are also the home of Rob Roy. The mountains and lakes will impress you several times on this trip.

A great hiking trip to get into the fascination of the Highlands and their myths and legends.

Highlights: Rob Roy Grave - Wallace Monument - Stirling - Stirling Castle - Callander - Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park - Doune Castle - Falls of Dochart

Travel description:

Who does not know the movie Braveheart and the heroic freedom fighter William Wallace. His victory at Sterling Bridge against the English went down in the history books. Robert Roy MacGregor has worked impressively against the English authorities for 400 years. His final resting place in "Balquidder" touches and leaves impressions that will last for a long time. We start in the north to Glasgow in Drymen and go to the National Park "Loch Lomond & Trossachs" for the next few days. On the break day we visit the Wallace Monument and on the way to Stirling Castle we also cross the Sterling Bridge. The "Falls of Dochart" at the destination of our hiking trip in Killin are a grandiose conclusion. A good place to review this hiking trip in Scotland again.
