Travel description:

In 122 AD, Emperor Hadrian had this monumental structure built. With this, the Romans left significant traces in the north of England to this day. The wall stretched over 117 kilometers from the east to the west coast. After completion after only 6 years, an average of 9,000 soldiers were stationed there. Not only the construction time is impressive, but also how skillfully the wall was adapted to the landscape. We have packed the most beautiful and greatest sections as well as the best museums and archaeological sites into a compact hiking trip to England for you.
