Impressions of the trekking trip Scotland Wilderness of Knoydart
Travel description:
The Knoydart peninsula is rightly called Scotland's last wilderness. This incredibly beautiful natural paradise can only be discovered on foot or by sea. In March 2013, the news channel CNN classified Knoydart as one of the ten "world's last great wilderness areas". We start by train from Fort William and travel over the famous "Harry Potter" viaduct to Glenfinnan. From the Glenfinnan Monument, this trail takes us across the entire Knoydart peninsula to Morvich. Several nights right by the sea and in the solitude of Knoydart. A paradise that can fortunately only be explored on foot. You shouldn't miss this tour, which is also suitable for beginners.
